In order for a marriage to be a “Christian” marriage, it has to have Christ at the Center.

Take a moment and share the expectations you have about getting married.
What do you feel are the most important ingredients before you decide to get married.
CONNECT:
- Read Genesis 2:18-24. What do we learn about human relationships in this passage?
- What does the Bible mean about being “unequally yoked”? Read 2 Corinthians 6:14.
- What are the ways you can be unequally yoked and how does it impact your relationship?
- Do you think it is still important to have sexual purity before marriage? What is God’s purpose for sex in marriage? Read Prov. 5:15-18, Malachi 2:15, Heb. 13:4
- Why is it important to share Life Priorities? What are yours? Share in the order of your preference: Marriage, Children, Career, God.
- What traditions or values do you consider important to bring into your marriage? Why? How do you work out differences in your preferences?
TAKE IT HOME:
- Take time to pray for each other’s relationships. For the couples as well as singles intending to be in a relationship.
- Determine how your group can help each other share Christ with the spouse who has not yet joined your group.
